VLADIMIR MEDINSKY'S BOOKS
Vladimir Medinsky is the author of a series of books called “Myths about Russia”, which is acknowledged as “the highest-circulation historical book of modern Russia“ (over 1 million copies sold): “About Russian drunkenness, laziness and cruelty”, “About Russian democracy, mud and the “prison of peoples”, “About Russian theft, soul and long-suffering”, the digest “Skeletons from the closet of Russian History”. The author has received 4 National Awards: “Best Books of the Year” (2013, 2014, 2019, 2021), the “Best Selling Book of Non-Fiction in Russia” (OLMA Publishing - “Prosveshchenie“, 2015), the International Valentin Pikul Award (2018).

Among Medinsky’s bestsellers are also books, which have had dozens of reeditions throughout Russia: “The War”, “Particularities of the national PR”, the adventure novel “The Wall” about the 17th century Troubles, published in several world languages, and his new work “Stories from Russian History. XVIII century”, fascinating tales about the key figures in Russian history, emperors and empresses, their courtiers, favorites, generals and thinkers. The book is based on the author's series of lectures, that the “Russia-Culture” TV channel’s viewers grew very fond of.
