Vladimir Medinsky is the author of a series of books called “Myths about Russia”, which is acknowledged as “the highest-circulation historical book of modern Russia“ (over 1 million copies sold):
“About Russian drunkenness, laziness and cruelty”, “About Russian democracy, mud and the “prison of peoples”, “About Russian theft, soul and long-suffering”, the digest “Skeletons from the closet of Russian History”. The author has received 4 National Awards: “Best Books of the Year” (2013, 2014, 2019, 2021), the “Best Selling Book of Non-Fiction in Russia” (OLMA Publishing - “Prosveshchenie“, 2015), the International Valentin Pikul Award (2018).
